Relief provided to the affected people and progress of incident inspection

Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding Public Company Limited (the "Company") would like to inform that the company still pays more attention on assistance for the affected people in Champasak and Attapue Provinces, Lao PDR by providing financial support and personnel resources to the Lao PDR authority. Aside from the initial relief of Kip 1.3 billion (around THB 5 million), the meeting of the company's Board of Directors dated June 25, 2018 approved an additional financial support to alleviate hardship for those affected residing in two provinces including mobile food, temporary lavatories, and medical supplies. After the close coordination, the given relieves have been done as advised by the Lao PDR officials to ensure that they effectively respond to necessity and needs of the affected.

For Xe-Pian Xe-Namnoy Power Company Limited (PNPC), the developer and constructor of Xe-Pian Xe-Namnoy Hydroelectric Power Company Limited, it continuously prioritizes rescuing and providing assistances for affected people by working closely with the Lao PDR officials. Meanwhile, the project engineers and relevant technical experts have already inspected conditions of the Saddle Dam D as well as other saddle dams of the project. It is reported that the water volume running through the Saddle Dam D lessened and it is expected that the water volume will resume to normalcy very soon in case of no rain.
