Ratchaburi Holding and Lao PDR's Ministry of Education and Sports proceed the 3rd year

Vientiane- Lao PDR: Ratchaburi Holding in cooperation with Lao PDR's Ministry of Education and Sports, presented by Ms. Boontiva Dansamasatid, Executive Vice President - Corporate Administration and Mr. Noopun Oodsa, Director General, Department of Vocational Education jointly chaired the High Vocational Certificate Presentation Ceremony to 61 graduates in electrical engineering, metal welding, and mechanical engineering from Pakpasak Technical College, Polytechnic College and Lao-German Technical College. This is the first graduate group completed the intensive skill training from three model engineering laboratories taken under The Education for Career Empowerment project i.e. the electrical engineering lab at Polytechnic College, the mechanical metal welding lab at Lao-German Technical College and mechanical engineering lab at Parpasak College.

On this occasion, the Advisory Committee of the Education for Career Empowerment Project also held the meeting to pursue the 3rd year project's progress in three main areas including the intensive skill training of 120 senior-year students from high vocational program, 10 scholarships for vocational teachers to enhancing technical knowledge and skill development, and the development of three laboratories in electrical, metal welding, and mechanical engineering to technical colleges in Vientiane, Luang Prabang and Xaiyaburi districts.

The "Education for Career Empowerment" Project, a collaboration between Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding PCL and Lao PDR's Ministry of Education and Sports, is the five-year operation (from 2011-2016) in response to support of the educational reform for economic and socio development in Lao PDR. This project has been accredited by the Ministry of Education and Sports as the stereotype project for CSR's collaboration with private sector in Lao PDR.
