The Royal Forest Department, In Collaboration With Ratchaburi Holding, Invites Community Forests to Join the “2013 Love the Forest and the Community” Program

The prizes are divided into five categories including the national community forest that will be granted the HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Trophy and a BHT 200,000 Community Forest Conservation Fund. Three runner up community forest prizes will be granted including a honorary plaque and a BHT 100,000 Community Forest Conservation Fund. The best community forest for sufficiency economy award with a honorary plaque and a BHT 100,000 Community Forest Conservation Fund.  Provincial model community forest award and consolation prizes will be granted including a honorary plaque and a support fund for community forest protection. There are 141 prizes in total.

Moreover participating community forests can join other activities in the program such as the Klayim youth camp, Klayim community forest seminar and others, which will be useful for the communities.

Interested community forests can contact and apply at “Forest Resource Management offices nationwide” or send the application form to the Community Forest Management Bureau, Royal Forest Department, 61, Phaholyothin Road, Lad Yao, Chatuchak District, Bangkok 10900.
