By the order of the Board of Directors and the Management, RATCH and all power plants came up with proactive measures so as to prevent impacts on job operators, relevant stakeholders and business operations. The following are preventive measures introduced by Head Office and key power plants.
Preventive measures against COVID-19
 Head Office
    General Measures
1) Mandatorytemperaturecheckonpersonnelentering: employees with temperature above 37.5 degree Celcius must enter the screening process and follow the measures by the Public Health Ministry’s Disease Control Department. No entry for visitors.
2) Place alcohol gel at entrance/exit doors, elevators, meeting rooms and central areas.
3) Increase frequency of cleaning with disinfectants and apply ozone disinfection system on a weekly basis.
4) Maintainsocialdistancingatmeetingsandinsideelevators.
5) Askemployeestoavoidtravelingtoareasorcountries at high risk, per the Company’s announcement. Those
returning from risk areas must come under 14-day quarantine or immediately seek medical advice if developing symptoms.
6) Order all personnel, key suppliers’ staff working at Head Office and visitors to wear face masks all the time in the office area.
8) Define “Work at Home” guidelines, to reduce congestion and possible inflections.
   Work at Home guidelines
1) Function chiefs hold the authority to decide which operator or team can work at home, without disrupting overall business operations.
2) Put in place measures to supervise those work at home, particularly during working hours.
3) Prepare computer programs, network, necessary information, operator database and work at home guidelines to assist operators.
   Independent Power Producers (IPPs)
    General measures
1) Announce safety guidelines for implementation during the peak of the COVID-19 outbreak.
2) Prepare the guidelines to screen operators and visitors suspected of contracting COVID-19.
3) Regularly monitor news updates and safety-related announcements.
4) Cancel all plant visits and allow only necessary meetings.
5) Check body temperature prior to entering power plants. The operator with temperature above 37.5 degree Celcius must enter respective hospital’ screening process and follow relevant measures. Visitors are denied entry.
6) Hand out alcohol gel to all units and place alcohol gel at all central areas.
   Measures on generator operations
1) Turn control rooms to restricted areas, where only responsible operators can enter.
2) Fix a single entrance/exit and prepare alcohol gel.
3) Hand out cloth face masks which must be worn by
operators while working in control rooms.
4) Send and receive information from shift to shift via
electronic media as much as possible.
5) Immediately subject operators with symptoms to
hospitals’ investigation.
