RATCH Group hosted the CSR initiative “Coral Planting and Marine Life Return to Thai Seas”, bringing together executives and employees to rehabilitate marine ecosystems by planting 280 staghorn coral fragments. These coral reefs are vital to the marine ecosystem, serving as natural habitats and food sources for marine species, as well as a natural barrier that prevents coastal erosion. In addition, the volunteer team released sandbar sharks and blue swimming crabs to help restore ecological balance within the marine food chain. The activity was carried out in collaboration with the Royal Thai Fleet, Sattahip Naval Base in Chonburi Province, a key conservation partner in the conservation of protecting Thailand’s marine and coastal ecosystems. The activity aligns with SDG 14: Life Below Water, promoting the conservation and sustainable use of oceans and marine resources. Importantly, the activity strengthened RATCH’s core value of “Teamwork”.
