Nonthaburi – RATCH Group Public Company Limited has succeeded the issuance of Unsubordinated and Unsecured Green Debentures with a tenor of 4 years and a fixed interest rate of 1.94% per annum, totaling THB 3,500 million. The green debentures are offered to institutional investors and are scheduled to mature in 2030. The proceeds will be used to refinance existing renewable energy projects, particularly wind power projects, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the Company’s renewable portfolio. The Company and the debentures were assigned a credit rating of “AA+” with a “Stable” outlook by TRIS Rating Co., Ltd. on 30 March 2026.
Mr. Nitus Voraphonpiput, Chief Executive Officer and President of RATCH Group stated that “The debenture offering received an overwhelmingly positive response from leading institutional, reflecting their strong confidence in the Company’s transition strategy toward achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. This success not only optimizes financing costs and renewable portfolio management efficiency, but also strengthens the Company’s liquidity for future investments in renewable projects. RATCH targets to increase equity capacity of renewables to 40% and 50% of total power generation capacity in 2035 and 2040 respectively, up from 31% at present."
This fundraising through debt instruments underpins the Company’s asset management strategy by optimizing financing costs for renewable assets, including overseas solar and wind projects, while reinforcing its capital structure to enable future investments and support long-term sustainable growth,” said Mr. Nitus.
The green debentures is aligned with the Company’s Sustainable Finance Framework and has been verified by DNV (Thailand) Co., Ltd. as the external independent verifier (Second Party Opinion). Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited acts as the Sole Lead arranger.
