Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Co., Ltd. (the Company) operates the electricity generation business to meet the power system demand, with a total installed capacity of 2,175 megawatts. Natural gas is used as the primary fuel, with diesel oil used as a backup fuel.

The Company recognizes its responsibility towards employees, communities, and stakeholders. Therefore, it places importance on environmental, occupational health and safety management systems in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. All levels of management and all employees are committed to the following:

  1. Strict compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and other requirements related to the environment, occupational health, and safety.
  2. Implementation of the “Relation, Participation, Communication (RPC)” strategy to promote harmonious coexistence with communities.
  3. Continuous implementation of energy conservation measures.
  4. Provision of consultation and promotion of participation and feedback from employees or employee representatives in environmental, occupational health, and safety activities.
  5. Protection of the environment through prevention and control of pollution arising from raw materials, production processes, and waste, as well as assessment of environmental impacts prior to the introduction of new raw materials, machinery, or production processes.
  6. Risk analysis and assessment to eliminate and prevent hazards in all work activities that may cause harm to employees’ health, including stakeholders affected by the Company’s operations.
  7. Communication to enhance knowledge, understanding, and awareness of environmental, occupational health, and safety management among all relevant stakeholders.
  8. Provision of adequate resources, including personnel, time, budget, and human resource development, to ensure effective implementation.

The Company shall review its policy, objectives, targets, project plans, and work plans, as well as continuously improve and develop its environmental, occupational health, and safety performance appropriately and on an ongoing basis.
